Description

As part of the Development & Alumni team, you will play an integral role by providing support for all fundraising and community building activities of the College. In this unique position, you will have the opportunity to connect with previous Alumni of the College through events while ensuring Notre Dame keeps up to date constituent data of donors, alumni, current students and parents. Notre Dame is looking for individuals who are customer focused and service oriented. Those who demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact with all individuals with integrity, empathy and sincerity. Individuals must be personable, organized and driven to step into the role as Development Assistant. This position allows for you to interact with the student body to build relationships and support their efforts to recognize their bursary/scholarship donors.

The essential roles for this position include, but are not limited to:
1. Database management which includes entering and maintaining constituent data for individuals and organizations.
2. Provide receipts and recognition letters of all donor gifts.
3. Coordinate student thank you letters and maintain bursary/scholarship files.
4. Assist with the coordination of Development and Alumni events; facilitate logistics, communications, volunteers and details for events.
5. Carry out lottery activities from applications through sales and reporting.

Requirements:
Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this opportunity  after all, were counting on you. We are looking for candidates who have an Office or Business Administration Certificate and/or comparable experience in an office environment. All candidates must have a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector check and valid drivers license. Individuals should display a commitment to Notre Dames Catholic nature, philosophy, principles, vision and mission.
