Description

The Town of Oxbow is seeking two summer students - one University and one High School - to perform duties related to maintenance of the green spaces in town - mowing, watering, painting and so on.  Students will be exposed to pollens and dust.

 

Skills and Abilities

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
 - Driver's licence
Specific Skills
 - Operate various equipment and machinery
 - Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
 - Clean and maintain sidewalks, streets, roads and public grounds
 - Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment
Work Setting
 - Municipal government
Equipment Experience
 - Power mowers
Weight Handling
 - Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
