Description

Responsibilities:
The Manager Institutional Research and Analysis is accountable to the Director of Strategy to provide overall direction, management and supervision of the Institutional Research and Analysis (IR&A) unit which provides analyzed and visualized data and other research support services for both internal Saskatchewan Polytechnic clients including management and staff, and external clients including but not limited to the Government of Saskatchewan, Polytechnics Canada and CICAN. The Manager is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the unit including planning and prioritizing workload. The Manager is also responsible for keeping abreast of new and evolving trends related to the fields of IR&A and Business Analytics.

Qualifications:
A relevant Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics or Social Science with a minimum of five years of experience in the fields of research, statistical analysis or business analytics is required. Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis tools including but not limited to Excel, Access, SPSS, and Tableau. An advanced Degree would be an asset. Demonstrated understanding of quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis and reporting including advanced knowledge of statistics and research theory and methods. Experience in the post-secondary sector would be considered an asset. Membership in the Canadian Institutional Research and Planning Association (CIRPA) would be considered an asset.
