Description

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking to fill the role of Financial Analyst  Commissioning located in our head office in Yorkton, SK. You will be responsible for the processing and timely payments for the external channel/dealer commissioning payments and the associated internal/external reporting. As part of this role you will conduct analysis and identify key financial issues and recommend appropriate solutions in a proactive manner including the development of practices and procedures.
Typical Duties
-    Responsible for receiving and resolving dealer inquiries/discrepancies, determining resolution and communicating results to dealers in a professional manner.
-    Responsible for thorough understanding of all dealer contracts, previous programs and current programs offered.
-    Responsible for all financial entries and reconciliations associated with the commissioning process.
-    Responsible for implementation of updates or changes to commissioning software as it relates directly to dealer payments.
-    Responsible for creation and compilation of internal and external financial reporting.
-    Responsible for various general ledger reconciliations.
-    Assist with development, enhancements and implementation of systems by providing information, analyzing alternatives, and assisting with testing.
-    Responsible for audit preparation including overall data integrity and clear financial reporting processes.

Qualifications
-    Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Commerce with a major in Accounting or Finance or a two-year diploma in accounting/business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a financial environment.
-    Working knowledge of financial / statistical analysis techniques and terminology.
-    Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
-    Ability to meet rigid deadlines.
