Description

Associated Engineering is currently searching for a junior Transportation Engineer to cover a one year leave of absence for our Regina location. The immediate role will involve active participation as part of the Project Control Team for the Owners Engineer on the prestigious Regina Bypass Project, the largest public-private partnership (P3) transportation infrastructure project in Saskatchewans history. This position is based out of the Regina Bypass Site office and travel to field construction projects will be required.

The initial role requires a candidate who is a conscientious and responsive individual, with a strong focus on organization and attention to detail. You will be responsible for providing administrative and project management assistance, and ensuring conformance to company standards for quality and format. A major focus of the role involves working with the project team to coordinate the distribution, tracking, and turnaround of project submissions and related documentation. This position also includes liaising with the project team, coordinating and attending project meetings, responding to and documenting project correspondence, compiling project statistics, and maintaining the project collaboration site.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in civil or a related engineering discipline from an accredited post-secondary educational institution.
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-developed inter-personal skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Committed team player.
- Registered with or eligible for registration with APEGS as an Engineer-in-Training.
