Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst who will ensure the validity and integrity of data used in the production of voter lists.

Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the data captured within the Permanent Register is current, complete, accurate, valid and reliable while adhering to Elections Saskatchewans data management standards;

* Ensuring the Permanent Register is maintained accurately, and that voters list products are effectively and efficiently provided to internal and external clients and stakeholders;

* Conducting quality assurance reviews of voters list products and/or performance indicators to locate and correct problems with data matching;

* Making recommendations for improving data import and matching algorithms to eliminate routine errors; and

* Creating reports and maps based on spatial data using ESRI GIS products.

Our ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Computer Science or related discipline and three years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
