Description

The Sr. Automation Project Manager is responsible for the successful development and deployment of high-value automation projects involving water treatment, complex security systems, custom integration solutions and custom automation solutions. Working with team members throughout the Company, the Project Manager will define and control scope, develop cost estimates and schedules, secure competitive bids, and manage the design, development, testing and installation of these systems.
Key Responsibilities
    Manage large-scale automation projects providing single-point accountability to ensure delivery to cost, schedule and quality targets
    Provide regular progress reports to senior management
    Promote a safe and ethical work place, and deliver equipment that meets all company, state and federal requirements for same
    Lead the design, development and deployment team, husbanding internal and external resources as required, to get the job done
    Collaborate with Manufacturing, Technology, Security, Water and Administration to ensure successful team-oriented work environment
    Alert senior management of any deviations from the agreed plan that might have a significant impact on cost, schedule or quality
    Own the process from beginning to end.
Education and Experience
    BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years relevant experience in the field of automation
    Experience managing large projects involving both internal and external resources and sub-contractors
    Experience in water treatment would be an asset
    Experience in security systems integration would be an asset
    Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact within both engineering and operational environments, and with both clients and suppliers
    Highly organized, detail-oriented, motivated and self-directed
