Facility: WEYBURN GENERAL HOSPITAL
Job Description: This position is responsible to coordinate the activities of the Medical/Surgical Department and to provide direct patient care. The Nurse B (In-Scope Supervisor) has immediate responsibilities within the Medical/Surgical Department but is also responsible to collaborate with the Emergency Department, The Intensive Care Unit and The Operating Room.  The Nurse B is responsible to direct the activities of the Medical/Surgical Department in the absence of the Out of Scope Manager and Out of Scope Nurse Supervisor. This position functions according to the policies of the Saskatchewan Health Authority and the Medical/Surgical Department.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
Three years acute care experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Interpersonal skills
Problem solving skills
Ability to make decisions, which must include coordination of staffing, and/or patient care, and/or coordination of equipment
Communication skills to transfer knowledge/skills
Supervisory skills
Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships and communication with other health care professionals
Ability to promote a collaborative and team approach
Ability and flexibility in adapting to changing situations and environments.

3 years recent clinical experience in acute clinical or patient/family service area
