We are currently looking for a talented and hardworking individual to join our team as an Accounting Technician. We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates excellent communication skills with the ability to support and motivate team members, while ensuring continuous efforts are made to protect the interests of Humboldt Electric Ltd., as well as all of the companys employees.

As an Accounting Technician, the successful candidates will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting practices and procedures for the utilization of analyzing financial information, preparing accurate financial statements and ensuring the appropriate accounting controls are in effect. Being held responsible for completing, overseeing and managing the companys financial records. The candidate must possess the ability to remain organized and confident in maintaining the current accounting structure, while continually seeking out innovative and creative methods for ensuring an updated system and overcoming new obstacles.

Primary Duties:
- Record daily business transactions including reconciling bank accounts, accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Examine accounts receivable statements for accuracy, while ensuring prompt payments
- Prepare month-end financial statements and reports for multiple entities in a timely manner
- Work with, and advise Senior Management on a variety of financial matters, including cash and expense management
- Administration of payroll
- Assist in year-end statement review with external accountants
