We are a large family run grain farm, looking for dedicated individuals with a farming background to join our hard working team.
Qualifications/Requirements:
-Min. 6 months of hands on grain farm experience and machine operating preferred
-Class 5 driver's license or equivalent required to drive equipment
-Class 1 an asset
-Understanding of long farm hours in high season, grain farm practice and expectations.
Responsibilities:
-Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, and harvest crops
-Operating farming equipment (combines, air seeders, sprayers, swathers)
-Ability to read gauges, instruments and electronic readout gauges for farm equipment
-GPS on all equipment
-Maintain farm machinery and equipment
-Clean and maintenance of equipment, yard and buildings as needed
-Equipment Operator and General Farm Labor
-Perform other duties as need arises
-Benefits, Vehicle and Housing supplied with
Minimal rent
No formal education required, experience more important
Minimum 6 months experience preferred
