Description

Discovery Motorsports Saskatoon is the only store in SK to carry the full-line of Polaris products including Indian motorcycles, Victory parts, Slingshots, snowmobiles, quads and side-by-sides.

Service Technicians perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faulty operations, and repair vehicles.  Service Technicians build, adjust, test, repair and add any additional accessories to vehicles.  

Read work order and examine the vehicle to locate the cause of faulty operation.
Use testing equipment, take the vehicle for a test drive, and/or refer to manufacturers specifications and manuals.
Dismantle faulty assemblies, repair or replace worn or damaged parts.
Reassemble, adjust and test repaired systems to the required standards.
Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
Advise Service Manager on work performed, general vehicle conditions and future repair requirements.
Stores and retrieves vehicles by driving and parking vehicles.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading service bulletins.
Build incoming vehicles.
Install any required accessories.
Follow safety procedures.
Responsible for keeping his/her equipment, garage and workspace clean and maintained to prevent operational delays in repairing equipment.
Complete all service department paperwork following internal process.
Follow and promote the companys Mission & Vision Statement.
All other duties as assigned.
