Description

Colliers International, a dynamic and growing full service property management and commercial brokerage firm, has an opportunity for the right person to join our team of professionals.

The Property Accounting Clerk is responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions for an assigned portfolio of properties.

The ideal candidate will be a client-oriented team player and possess:
- a minimum of post secondary Introductory Accounting courses or two-years equivalent work experience;
- experience with multi-level databases and/or accounting software;
- strong critical thinking skills;
- the ability to process a high volume of data entry, work well under pressure, and meet numerous deadlines;
- organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;
- excellent oral and written communication skills;
- a positive attitude and the desire to provide excellent customer service;
- a strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential;
- a working knowledge of Yardi Property Management software would be a definite asset.

2)Ability to take initiative and deal effectively with situations; work well under pressure
3)Excellent organizational and time management skills
4)Strong written and oral communication skills
5)Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to deal effectively and professionally in stressful situations
6)Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel) a must, Yardi experience an asset
7)Actively enrolled in an accounting program or equivalent experience
