We are a fast growing, locally owned flooring with a large showroom & warehouse. We have high quality products at a reasonable price & we pride ourselves on our high level of customer service.
Your duties
You are responsible for reception: including greeting customers; answering & operating our phone system; creating invoices; entering data into Excel; photocopying; filing documents; producing cash summaries; taking deposits to the bank; ordering supplies; verifying invoices; assisting in special projects; taking care of various tasks in the office; & maintaining the appearance of our showroom.
Your Qualifications
You need to work in a fast-paced environment & need to be committed to excellent customer service. You are a hardworking & self-motivated individual, & a reliable team player. You need to be a quick learner who works efficiently with attention to detail & need to follow direction & take on any task that comes to you. Basic reading, writing & arithmetic skills are required; & you need to be careful with numbers & computer savvy. You will interact with customers frequently: a pleasant demeanour & presentable appearance is needed. Other people will be relying on you: being organized & punctual is very important. There are many things happening each day: being able to handle interruptions & getting back to the task at hand is important, as is the ability to multi-task. Having previous reception experience & experience in Excel are pluses.
More Info
You need to work Mondays to Saturdays, with a day off in there. You will also be a part of our group benefit plan, which includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, as well as short and long-term disability benefits.
