Summer Student JobPELC has exciting opportunities for summer employment (MAY - AUG) to join our team of dedicated Early Childhood Educators in one of our 6 centres.
To qualify for these positions you must:
1. be between the ages of 16-30
2. have been registered as full-time students in the previous academic year and intend
to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year;
3. be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection
has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment; and,
4.have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada
5.The term of these positions will be May 1 - Aug 31, 2018
Our Early Childhood Educators work with children to create stimulating environments by following the children's lead. PELC is committed to the Play & Exploration model & encourages applicants that support this model to apply.
Current Requirements:
Experience working with children
Valid First Aid/CPR
Recent Police Record Check including vulnerable sector check
