Description

We are currently looking for individuals with a passion to succeed, a commitment to excellence, and a determination to be the best!

BASIC SHIFT SUPERVISOR DUTIES

As a Shift Supervisor you will either be responsible for a specific area of the restaurant or the entire restaurant for a period of time.

Noting when standards are not being met and then taking steps to correct them.
Conducting Manager's walks for assigned areas and times. Deciding what tasks need to be done, then assigning those tasks to crewmembers.
Using common sense when making critical decisions and contacting management if their assistance is required.
Directing the training of new employees or the retraining of old employees.
Providing prompt feedback to employees. Praise them for jobs well-done and correct substandard or inappropriate behaviour.
Ensure that the proper product levels and quality are maintained.
Complete administrative paperwork assigned by your manager accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure that employees follow proper cash control procedures.
Ensure that all rules and regulations are followed
Communicate with the manager regarding any issues you have handled (customer complaints, staff performance issues...).

Managing means directing the team to accomplish the team's goals. Does this mean you don't have to do things like food prep any more? You know by watching your own management team that this isn't true. The manager oversees the operation and makes sure it is running smoothly, but also helps out whenever or wherever help is needed.
