Description

Core Results
Reporting to the Lab Manager and Lab Supervisors, technologists are expected to perform the following duties both within the laboratory and in the field as needed:
- Materials testing such as concrete, soil, aggregate, and asphalt with an emphasis on learning the requirements of the project or job assigned, and delivering these services accordingly.
- Accurate, detailed, and efficient inspections and monitoring which may consist of reinforcing bar inspections and pile inspections.
- Submittal of accurate, detailed, and timely reports of all inspection and testing work completed.
- Assisting lab manager and supervisors with coordination of staff and resources.
- High quality service to all clients and stakeholders of the project.

Key Selection Criteria
A diploma in a technology course from a recognized college or university
Three to five years of materials testing and supervision experience
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills
Strong team player
Strong attention to detail
Must work well in fast-paced environment and under pressure
Willing to work overtime and in remote locations upon request
Must have valid Class 5 Drivers License and provide Drivers Abstract with application
