-Issue purchasing orders for all product ordered for the store.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure proper inventory turns.
- Source new products for the retail store.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors.
- Contact vendors on overdue orders.
- Work directly with the receiving department to ensure accuracy as well as ensure all claims are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Communicate with Sales staff in regards to orders and new products.
- Vendor & item code maintenance including price changes.
- Develop & maintain business relationships with Vendors.
- Other duties assigned by Management.
- Must have working knowledge of computer systems including Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication & organizational skills.
- Accurate & detail oriented.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated & willingness to learn.
- Experience is an asset but will train the right individual.
