Description

Program Assistant
To qualify you must be a current full time student returning to school in fall
Full time ? 16 weeks starting (dates negotiable)
$14/hour
Interviews will be conducted in April

Are you a problem solver?
Provide examples in your cover letter

Are you computer, web and social media savvy? Graphic design or accounting would be assets.
Provide details in your cover letter.

Are you creative, designing attractive presentations in Power Point, videos or materials for print?
Attach samples of your work in this area

Can you facilitate groups, present at street displays or deliver lesson plans?
Describe in your cover letter

Duties:

Assist with preparation for events and on site at summer events including


June 9-11 ? Family Camp at Arlington Beach on Long Lake

September 10 ? Brain Boogie

Deliver hands on, computer and static displays and/or presentations on weekends.

Research and develop education & awareness materials

Assist with preparation of written & printed materials such as newsletters, brochures, power point presentations ? please attach samples of your work

General Office Duties and other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

EXCELLENT Computer Skills ? MS Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and design programs
Excellent Organizational Skills with an eye for details.
Strong Research and Writing skills ? with excellent grammar and spelling
Strong Communications skills  
Demonstrated ability to work with people who have disabilities, work independently, take initiative
