Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the Emergency Department..
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) is preferred
Trauma nursing core course (TNCC) is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Clinical competence in Acute Care and Emergency/Outpatient Services
Other Information

NOTE: This is a Provincial Posting and is open to all SUN members within the bargaining unit as per Articles 27.02 and 27.05 of the SUN Collective Bargaining Agreement. First preference will be given to employees of the SKHA (Saskatoon) and its affiliated agencies.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is preferred.  Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is preferred.  It will be desirable if you possess a knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques involved in performing nursing services relating to the care of patients in an Emergency Department.  This knowledge is commonly obtained through previous experience in emergency and critical care nursing.
Expected Start Date: July 2, 2018
Expected Up To Date: January 2, 2020
FTE: 0.63

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends
In a 4 week rotation: 8 shifts of 11.78 hours
