Job Description: The Director of Mission is accountable to the President and CEO of St. Paul's Hospital, in the CEO's role of ensuring that SPH lives out its vision, mission, and values in a way that is faithful to its identity within the context of the affiliation with the Saskatchewan Health Authority and the community we serve.

The Director of Spiritual and Cultural Care is accountable to the SKHA (Saskatoon) Vice President for Integrated Health Service's for the provision of spiritual and cultural care according to the regions vision, mission, and values.

Required Qualifications

Theological degree, preferably Master of Divinity or equivalent
Experience
A minimum of three years of experience in full-time active ministry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Understanding of and the skill to apply the philosophies of the SKHA (Saskatoon) and St. Pauls Hospital inherent in the above environment
Conflict and mediation skills
Ability to manage within an environment of restricted resources
Ability to lead change and innovation
Ability to plan, prioritize and oversee numerous concurrent projects effectively
Personal commitment to the charism, vision, mission and values of the Sisters of Charity of Montreal (Grey Nuns) and St. Pauls Hospital
Ability to relate to diverse individuals and groups of people and manage issues in a professional, caring manner
Significant understanding of the basis for the vision, mission and values of St. Pauls Hospital that is rooted in scripture, in teaching of the Catholic Church and in the history of Catholic health care in Canada
Ability to generate enthusiasm and inspire confidence and support
Knowledge of and commitment to advan
