Description

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent organization, computer, communication and team skills.  The candidate must have proven skills related to all facets of forestry operations and field work.  Field experience is a definite asset.
The following qualifications are preferred:
    A minimum of 3 years related experience
    Ability to qualify for a Registered Professional Forester / Registered Professional Forestry Technician designation in Saskatchewan is required
    Proficient in current technology, GIS knowledge an asset
    Knowledgeable in current forest legislation

Based out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and under the direct supervision of the Woodlands Superintendent, the Woodlands Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the harvesting and field operations for operations in Saskatchewan.
    Manage contractor safety, performance, and environmental leadership in the operations
    Plan and execute annual road, harvest and post-harvest programs
    Professional interaction with Government personnel and industry partners
    Other duties related to operations
