Summer Student JobFull time position to work the window at River Landing Snacks. Preference will be given to applicant with previous experience with operating a cash resister, handling cash, making change, and making and serving at an ice cream stand or similar business.
Shift hours: (30-40 hours/week) 5-6 shifts per week. (weekday and weekend work will be required) MUST BE ENROLLED IN FULL TIME SCHOOL STUDIES FOR THE FALL OF 2018
Job duties:
-Taking accurate orders from customers
-Operating a cash register
-handling cash and making change
-serving customers orders
-Preparing ice cream cones, milkshakes ect.
-Assisting in food preparation and cleaning of kitchen and areas
Skills and Requirements:
-Friendly and helpful
-Energetic and outgoing personality
-Food safe handling course or equivalent is an asset but not required
-Previous experience in a similar business is preferred but not required
-Flexibility with work days as shifts will need to vary as needed
-Criminal records check with vulnerable sector check required
