With over 50 years of experience and reliability, Standard Machine is a custom job shop with in-house capabilities for complete power transmissions projects; milling, turning, gear cutting, gear grinding, induction hardening, and carburization, fabrication, mechanical and engineering.

The Ideal Candidate:
-Minimum of five years operating large CNC Lathes in a job shop environment,
-Capable of measuring parts using inside and outside mics up to 60 inches,
-Capability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment,
-Excellent communication skills, both oral and written,
-Proven ability to organize and facilitate multiple projects in an accurate timely manner,
Team based history of exceeding goals.

The Job:
-Pre-sequence inspection of all material and parts,
-Efficient setup and operation of CNC Lathes based on engineered drawings,
-Loading & unloading material and parts for machining,
-Completion of in-process inspections according to ISO and Quality Assurance standards,
-Documentation of sequence processes and required manufacturing documentation,
-Safe operation of  overhead cranes utilizing expert rigging techniques focused on safety,

Shift work may be required.  All hours worked on a schedule beginning after 3:30 PM are paid a $4 per hour shift differential.
