Description

This position could be located in either Yorkton or Regina and is dependent on finding the correct candidate.

As the office manager you will:
* Process a variety of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
* Prepare bank deposits & cheque runs
* Prepare quarterly GST returns
* Prepare monthly PST Returns
* Run bi-weekly payroll
* Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
* Assist with month-end and quarter-end journal entries
* Complete Annual T-4's
* Answer and direct the phone calls
* prepare AP invoices and submit
* Prepare and pay AR
* prepare and pay source deductions
* complete year end tax preparations for submission to company accountant
* issuing purchase orders to field personnel and tracking them in the system
* purchasing flights, materials or equipment as directed by management
* problem solving so the owner doesnt have too.

Our ideal candidate has the following experience and traits:
* Proficiency using QuickBooks is a must
* Intermediate Excel skills
* 5+ years experience with A/P, A/R, bank & G/L reconciliations
* Payroll experience
* experience with month-end/year-end close process
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Attention to detail is a must-have
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Is self-motivated
* Able to show up on time and work a complete day
