Hypor Inc. is seeking an individual for the position of Manager of the Green Hill Artificial Insemination Centre located near Ituna, Saskatchewan.

This person will manage all aspects of the operations at the facility and should have technical knowledge that would include:

-    In-depth knowledge of aseptic laboratory techniques;
-    Understanding of animal science, particularly reproductive physiology; experience in semen collection and processing
-       Understanding of veterinary practices and preliminary disease identification
-    Agriculture Canada and CFIA regulations applicable to swine semen production centres

Key responsibilities in this position include optimizing the unit productivity in terms of gene flat packs produced and sold and ensuring the health, safety and welfare of both employees and the stock at the facility.  

A self-starter, the successful candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in a commercial swine facility and display: the ability to lead a team of individuals with a hands-on approach; superior communication skills; a responsive and proactive approach to problems; above average computer skills; ability to work both day and night shifts is required.
