Description
The Yard Attendant is responsible for a broad range of duties with customer service being a priority and focus. The ideal candidate will have an air brake endorsed(A) license or willing to obtain the endorsement for the ability to make deliveries. Specific duties include: Safe operation of tools and equipment, accept and deliver lumber orders, organize lumber yard and warehouse, operate cash register, stock shelves, order/receive building product materials, inventory reconciliation, dispense fuel and propane, assist with store opening/closing procedures and other duties as assigned. Forklift training and operation will be required as well as other safety certifications. Persons interested in this position must possess and demonstrate good communication and organizational skills.
