Stepping Stones Child Care requires a few energetic staff members to commit to working as part of our team.
Must have excellent verbal and written English skills, CLBA Level 8 or ILETS Level 6.5
Casual positions are available at all our locations.
Preference given to those with ECE I or higher.
Must pass a criminal record check.
Rate of pay is $11.09 for those with no ECE training, $12.26 for those with ECE I and $16.26 per hour for those with an Early Childhood CERTIFICATE.
Those with an Early Childhood DIPLOMA will be paid $18.29 to start.
Please Indicate on your cover letter what days/ hours you can work. Those without an ECE I can not work more than 15 hours a week!

Early Childhood Education Skills

- Prepare progress reports and discuss with parents and other staff members
- Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs

- Knowledge of licensing regulations

Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them

- Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
