Description

Brandt is seeking a Senior Network Analyst to join our IT/IS team in our Regina office.  Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and monitoring existing network platforms and products.  They will provide input on new initiatives, design solutions, and be a key player in implementation.  They will stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies as related to network and security disciplines.

Responsibilities:
    Configure, maintain and support existing infrastructure including datacenter networks, site networks, corporate Wi-Fi, VOIP systems, enterprise firewall, etc.
    Work with vendors to identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving the overall network performance and security
    Identify opportunities and establish policies to ensure the security of the corporate network
    Provide advanced network support to the service desk team
    Mentor and coach peers
    Some travel will be required

Qualifications:
    8+ years experience in network infrastructure with 3+ years in a senior network role.
    Relevant Post-Secondary Degree, College Diploma or the equivalent certifications and/or experience.
    Expert knowledge and experience with the following network fundamentals:  IP Subnetting, TCP/IP, DNS, IP trunking, NAT, VLAN, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), enterprise wireless solutions, VOIP, VPN Tunnels, load balancing, network performance monitoring tools, etc.
    Capacity to work autonomously with limited supervision.
    Strong problem solver that adheres to best practice solutions.
    Candidates with the following technical skills/training will be preferred:
o    Cisco certification (CCNP, CCNA) or similar industry certifications.
o    Experience with Cisco products such as UCM (CallManager), Prime, ASR and ISR routers, Catalyst and Nexus switches, UCS.
