Luther College High School (Regina, Saskatchewan) is seeking a full-time Academic Support Coordinator (duties to commence August 27, 2018). Candidates must hold a Saskatchewan Teachers Certificate or be eligible to apply for one before August 2018, and have evidence of a successful criminal records check within the past calendar year. Please note, this position is pending budget approval.
Preferential consideration will be given to candidates:
1. whose major or minor in their B.Ed. focuses on learning supports or who hold a post-degree certificate directly related to provision of learning supports, or tutoring services;
2. with demonstrated experience in tutoring and/or providing other academic support programs to students, and working collaboratively with a high school faculty in a capacity demonstrably related to learning support;
3. familiar with the International Baccalaureate program of studies and how an academic support coordinators work would be informed by IB approaches to teaching and learning;
4. committed to meaningful participation in the cultural and/or athletic communities in a high school setting; and
5. who value teaching in an educational institution dedicated to quality education in a Christian context.
