David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies has partnered with our client; a provider of complex business, corporate, and financial solutions.  They are experiencing extremely rapid growth  and are looking to add a Director, Finance, Loans and Treasury to their team.

Responsibilities:

Work with the corporate team to provide customers with holistic financial solutions, and that all transactions meet all regulatory requirements
Manage bank and financial institution relationships and optimize offerings
Ensure that all loan documentation and contracts are compliant and in support of the financial institution structure
Optimize access to third party capital through building strong relationships and favorable terms
Manage and grow the organizations capital pool
Lead the securitization and sale of loan portfolios
Work with CFO, CEO, Shareholders and Advisory Board to provide accurate and timely information with respect to financial statements, presentations and forecasts
Effectively manage a team of internal staff

Professional Experience/ Qualifications:

In depth knowledge of lending, underwriting, treasury, asset securitization and capital markets
7-10 years experience in increasingly progressive positions in a financial institution or the financial arm of a major company with demonstrated abilities in the areas of lending, underwriting and securitization
CPA/CFA/CMA/CA designation
Very high business acumen, integrity, ethics and focus
Quick learner and high drive to deliver quality results
Articulate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team player who can work closely with others to achieve timely and high quality solutions
