David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Heavy Equipment Sales Representative for their Regina region. Our client is a world leader in the heavy equipment sales and service industry. With over eighty years of experience this organization offers a diverse product line to customers in various industries, including mining, construction, forestry and oil and gas.
The Role:
In this role you will be responsible for selling a full product portfolio including equipment sales, rentals and service.
Develop new business/sales opportunities through cold calling and territory prospecting
Utilize a consultative sales approach to identify and define customer requirements and present appropriate solutions
Create business plans, forecast and develop a strategy to achieve budget
Travel throughout the region
The Ideal Candidate:
Five or more years of sales experience in the heavy equipment industry
Results focused sales style with a solutions oriented attitude
Sound relationship building skills, including the ability to influence positive outcomes and develop strong partnerships/relationships with clients
Strong business acumen, highly developed communication and presentation skills
Unquestionable personal and professional integrity complemented by a drive to deliver exceptional customer service and motivation to achieve company targets
