Description

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work as part of a brand ambassador team this summer on our Boryski's Butcher Block Food Trucks, SnackShacks, Farmers' Market location, and Sask. International Raceway.  

Team members are responsible for food prep for each location as well as cooking/grilling on the food truck.

Work hours are varied but are typically between 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Longer hours are required during events such as Jazz Fest, Fringe, and Ag In Motion.

Location: The food truck and Snack Shacks are on a mobile permit, and will have varied locations. Team members are responsible for providing their own transportation to the location.

Position Qualifications:
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Restaurant Experience is helpful but not mandatory
- Food truck experience is helpful but not mandatory
- Drivers license and ability to drive a 24-foot truck is an asset


Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with company guidelines.
-Inventory is accounted for and kept up to date
- Ensure stocks of ingredients and food supplies are used so as to reduce and avoid spoilage and waste.
- Ensure all food containers and packaging are clean, well-stocked, and neatly arranged.
- Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety are maintained throughout the kitchen, food trucks, and Snack Shacks at all times.
- Work with other team members to ensure excellent service is provided to customers.
- Take directions and guidance from Food Truck Managers
- Taking cash and payments when working alone

- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Well organized and able to maintain cleanliness at all times
- Flexible, willing to help in all facets of the food truck business
- Able to work on a food truck (high/low temperatures, limited space)

 - Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
 - Take customers' orders
 - Stock refrigerators and salad bars
 - Portion and wrap foods

 - Keep records of the quantities of food used
 - Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
