This position is responsible to collaborate with department supervisors and inspectors on food safety issues and related activities. You will be responsible for reviewing, updating and providing recommendations to the HACCP program. You'll train new employees on HACCP procedures and company policies in food plant hygiene. You'll update and review HACCP records, conduct testing and product sample collections. With your strong work ethic, initiative and teamwork approach you will be an integral part of the HACCP/QA Department.
Post-secondary education in Food Science, Agriculture or related sciences preferred. Knowledge of HACCP, Quality Assurance, GMP's and GFSI would be considered an asset This experience would have been gained through completion of secondary education and/or combination of education and work experience.
