This new permanent position requires a motivated helpdesk professional with excellent customer service, skillful in troubleshooting/problem-solving, and who is a team player. This position will support IT needs including installation, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting desktop, laptop computers in a PC environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support for all computers, server;
Record/monitor service requests with timely resolution;
Deploy IT equipment for new hires, including configuration, physical set up;
SP installations, bug fixes, security updates, any system change activities;
Update asset tracking systems when issuing or collecting equipment;
Work occasional evenings/ weekends for unscheduled interruptions/ emergencies, regular maintenance on server;
Maintain secure firewall, with regular maintenance, upgrades as necessary;
Perform regular backups of the network;
Work with Office Manager on documentation;
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Windows desktop support including Windows 10 Pro and Office 365;
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Active Directory, network configuration;
Ability to troubleshoot standard law firm software, multi-printer devices, cloud services;
Ability to document trouble tickets, processes and procedures;
Configure a variety of devices including desktops, laptops, iPhone/Android, printers;
Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments;
Experience/Education Required
Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Office 365: Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, iPhone/Android;
Familiarity with basic hardware and software troubleshooting;
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills;
Highly organized and efficient time-management.
