Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Hemodialysis In-Centre, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients.  This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counseling, evaluation of care and arrangement for follow up care within a multidisciplinary team.  The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for dietetic interns. This could involve district and provincial travel.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nutrition
Accredited Dietetic Internship
Registered or eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Experience
Preference will be given to candidates who have Clinical Dietitian experience with acute care medical patients in a hospital setting.  Preference will be given to candidates with Hemodialysis and Renal program experience.
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

37.50 hours per 2 week rotation
