Description

Kelly Panteluk Construction Ltd. (KPCL) is hiring experienced dozer, excavator, grader and scraper operators for work secured around the Lanigan, Saskatoon, Warman/Martensville, Estevan, Belle Plaine and Coronach areas.

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.

Key duties include:
A. Actively participating, promoting and engaging others in a culture of safety amongst employees, subcontractors and clients;
B. Operating heavy equipment as assigned, and participating in jobsite labour if required;
C. Operating heavy equipment within the limitations of the operator and machine to mitigate the risk of near misses, accidents, injuries and/or unsafe acts or conditions from occurring this includes acts of omission or negligence that causes damage to the works, equipment and property;
D. Communicating information clearly and effectively to all co-workers, foreman and Superintendents;
E. Listening and carrying out instructions diligently, and speaking up when instructions are unclear, not understood or the hazards are not identified or mitigated;
F. Willingness to travel between jobsites and work overtime when required; and
G. Any other duties as may be assigned by Employer, from time to time.

Preference is given to candidates with previous experience operating dozer, excavator, grader and scraper on civil construction projects including, but not limited to road building, lagoon/ landfill construction and underground infrastructure.
