The Electrical and Mechanical Coordinator role encompasses administrative and technical skill sets in the execution of internal and external electrical and mechanical projects throughout Canada. The candidate should bring a high performance work ethic and be a team player that is willing to take on new challenges that come with each project and location.
Responsibilities include:
Project start-up and organization of job codes and allocations
Expediting information flow and produces correspondence required for onsite technicians and tradesmen
Attends and participates in job conference meetings
Receives, processes and interprets submittals and RFIs
Tracks work activities to provide accurate schedule updates
Evaluates work progress to assess pay requisitions and change order work
Collects and maintains close-out documents for an efficient close-out phase
Analyzes and compiles information from job cost reporting system to prepare report package for internal project management and monthly job cost meetings
Solicit, analyze and route product information form vendors to project staff and consultants
Required Skills:
Strong writing and editing skills for creating daily correspondence and standard documents
Knowledge of fiscal management
Ability to apply policies and procedures to solve company issues
Skilled in the use of spreadsheet, relational database, and word processing software. Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
Must have and maintain a valid drivers license unless otherwise noted
