Description

Ground Effects is currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Office Administrator on a part-time basis (2-3 days/week). The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude, strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Office Administration or Accounting certificate complimented with minimum 2 years of experience in a related position
- Knowledge and experience with accounting practices and principles a definite asset
- Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Strong communication skills  both written and oral
- Punctual and reliable self-starter
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage work flow to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to perform the following responsibilities as a part of a multi-disciplined team with limited supervision

Responsibilities & Duties:
- General reception duties including answering phones, greeting visitors, maintaining filing system, processing incoming/outgoing mail, and special projects as required
- Processing all accounts payable; substantiating transactions, reconciling statements, and preparing payments and remittance details
- Coordinating travel arrangements; managing schedules and reservations
- Scanning archived documentation and maintaining project files
- Maintaining inventory of office equipment and supplies
- Providing ongoing accounting and administrative related support to all staff
- Additional accounting related duties to commensurate with experience and on-the-job training
