The ABE English Language Arts/Math/Science Instructor will provide instruction and tutorial support to adults registered in level 10-30 English, Math and Science courses. Areas of instruction may include, but are not limited to senior level English Language Arts, Math and Science courses. The instructor may also be required to teach other subject areas as assigned.
Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
Classroom management;
Taking attendance and submitting on a regular basis;
Monitoring student progress and submitting reports on a regular basis; and
Perform other related duties as assigned.
The minimal qualifications for this positions is a Bachelor of Education Degree with a major in English, and a major or minor in Math and/or Science; Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate. Experience teaching level 30 courses is a definite asset. The ability to attain provincial accreditation in English Language Arts, Math, and Science is a definite asset.
