Pioneer Co-op is looking for an Agronomist (Fertilizer) to join our team at our Swift Current location. We are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic individual who will be involved in all aspects of fertilizer for crop production to local area farmers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Advising farmers on soil assessments and fertility management and harvesting decisions
Inventory control and logistics in and out of the operation
Direct sales calls to potential and current clients
Qualifications:
Degree in Agriculture, specializing in Crop Sciences or a Certified Crop Advisor Designation, with agriculture experience and knowledge of fertilizer product
Strong customer service skills
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation, and teamwork
