Description

The following position is hereby posted in accordance with Article 9 of the Collective Agreement between Saskatchewan Government Employees Union and Rainbow Youth Centre.
Job Duties:
- Planning nutritious menu in accordance with Canada Food Guide
- Preparing supper for approx. 15 (and up to 30) each day, served at 4:45PM
- Preparing snacks for programs as required
- Purchasing groceries within a set budget
- Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area daily, weekly, monthly
- Supporting and instructing youth on kitchen procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Education or experience in planning and preparing meals
- Able to work independently and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver?s license a requirement
- Safe Food Handling certificate (asset)
- Demonstrates effective communication skills

Remuneration: $15.28 per hour starting wage

Hours of Work:  25 hours per week, Monday-Friday with a typical shift being 1PM-6PM. (some flexibility available)
