Description

Responsibilities
Demonstrating safety leadership and safe work practices at all times
Working in accordance with ULS policies and procedures
Providing exceptional customer service & client experiences
Demonstrating strong leadership skills and overseeing a team of up to 3 crew members
Able to place concrete, level concrete, finish concrete surfaces with hand tools and power tools
Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces; Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications; Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
Able to read and interpret blueprints, drawing, designs and specifications.
Ability to establish work schedules and procedures, as well as coordinate activities with other work units
Ability to drive, load, and secure equipment on trucks and trailers
Operating and troubleshooting a variety of equipment including motorized hand tools and some ride on equipment with valid operating certifications (skid steer, loaders, min-excavators); Certificates available through training at ULS
Concrete material ordering
