Position Overview:
At S3 Manufacturing, the Material Handler is responsible for storing, moving, handling and providing raw materials to production as required. The Material Handler identifies, transports, packages, and disposes of materials safely.

Some of the Material Handler responsibilities include:
    -Conducting daily checks for equipment
    -Picking materials to fill production workstations
    -Receiving, verifying and monitoring materials
    -Maintaining good housekeeping

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and problem solving skills and will be capable of responding quickly to the ever-changing needs of production.  In addition, the Materials Handler will require these skills and abilities:

    -Grade 12 Diploma, or equivalent
    -Experience in material handling, or previous comparable job experience
    -Competent in the safe operation of a forklift
    -Ability to measure and record information accurately using computer programs
    -Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel programs an asset
    -Capable of adapting to and learning new software applications
    -Ability to count, measure and record information accurately
    -Positive and cooperative team player
    -Capable of working with minimal supervision
    -Ability to communicate effectively
