We are seeking a Parts Person at Future Ford in Melville, to oversee all aspects of the Parts department, driving change and business results while building customer confidence and relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the Parts department
Work closely with customers to understand their needs and offer the best solution to meet their needs in a timely manner
Build and establish relationships with customers to provide excellent customer service and increase customer loyalty
Identify and communicate opportunities for change which will positively impact business results
Manage inventory in parts and attachments in order to effectively grow parts sales, gross and net
Ensure technicians have the appropriate parts in a timely manner
Desired Skills and Experience
2 years of previous parts department experience
Knowledge and understanding of the overall functioning of the Parts department and the day-to-day operations of the parts department as well as integration with the service shop
Mechanical knowledge/aptitude and the ability to convey technical information to customers when providing service would be an asset
Proficiency in the use of personal computers and the ability to quickly adapt to new applications and software
Excellent communication skills
