We currently seek a permanent, full time Computer Programmer/Analyst/IT Support Personnel. This position is responsible for the implementation of new and the support of existing computer systems through software installs, configuration, integration, testing, program design and coding for assignments of limited complexity. The successful candidate requires solid technical skills coupled with a responsive, professional attitude and will thrive on challenge and variety, and the ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
What you will do day-to-day:
-Assist with implementation of new and the support of existing computer systems through software installs, configuration, integration, testing, program design and coding for assignments of limited complexity
-Analyze and correct problems with existing computer system problems
-Prepare and update system documentation as it relates to new system implementation and existing application support
-Report regularly to immediate supervisor, the progress and status of all assignments
-Stay informed of technology advancements that assist with providing quality support with a focus on development of programming productivity solutions in various applications
-Provide backup technical computer support and Help Desk to members of our firm as required
-Support of SQL databases and physical networks
-Other related duties as required
What skill sets & qualifications we are looking for:
-Knowledge of programming languages and Web based programming languages, primarily PHP, HTML, JavaScript, FoxPro, .Net, Visual Basic
-Knowledge of SQL Databases (SQL Server, DBF Files).
-A solid knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000 2016 (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and ability to do application programming development
-Ability to solve problems and think logically
-Ability to plan and schedule tasks and work within deadlines
-Ability to present facts effectively orally and in writing - Communication skills are critical
