Brandt is currently seeking a CADD/Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join our design team in Regina, Saskatchewan.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Works within the Industrial Repair team to analyze and identify cost effective and practical solutions to customer problems and products.
When necessary travel to site and work in a problem solving capacity with our customers.
Comfortable working on industrial sites providing technical guidance to audiences with diverse backgrounds
React urgently, professionally, and effectively to customer demands.
Make design and drawing changes to accommodate customer and/or factory requirements.
Prepare shop detail drawings for various one-of-a-kind projects.
Involved in machine design using your education related to applied mechanics and strength of materials, and machine design.
Work closely with the factory to make Engineering and Ind. Repair related decisions.
Be the face of Brandt in front of the customer.
Communicate clearly, professionally, and honestly at all times; whether in the factory or in front of the customer.
Work with customers to on developing project scopes for quotation and repair.

Required Skills:
Graduate of a post-secondary institution wit a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, CADD

Required Experience:

Technology, CAD/CAM Technology or related discipline.
AutoCAD Mechanical & Inventor Software experience
Meticulous, focus on attention to detail
Strong mechanical and organizational skills
Experience in an Industrial Repair or Industrial environment
Demonstrated customer face time and experience
Excellent work ethic
