RescueTECH is a service focused company that provides IT service in and around the Regina. We are adding members to our RescueTECH team. Candidates must have practical work experience troubleshooting, maintaining and servicing Mac and PC computers in a service environment. Communication with customers, some of whom have little IT knowledge, in person and on the phone, is a key aspect of the job.
Day to day tasks include malware cleanups, hardware tests, OS loads and data backups. Other duties include hardware installation, ordering parts from approved vendors, processing payment transactions, light cleaning and keeping work areas neat and organized.
Other duties include providing remote and onsite support to customers, and opening and closing the office from time to time. Wearing RescueTECH branded attire (provided) when on duty is also a requirement.
Successful candidates will have:
An interest in information technology, and the ability to work independently.
Patience and good people skills.
Be a self starter, problem solver and finisher of tasks.
The ability to follow established documentation and work flow procedures.
A valid drivers license.
The ability to pass a criminal background test.
Good work ethic, be punctual and presentable.
Assets.
Education and certifications relevant to the position CompA , MS certs etc.
Comfortable working with introverted IT people who are not big on idle conversation.
Networking and server experience (Windows, VM, Linux).
Personable and have a positive attitude.
Non smoker preferred.
This is a full time position Monday Friday.
