Facility: Royal University Hospital
Job Description: Under the direction of the Senior Psychologist, the psychologist will provide psychological services to clients of the program and their families. The incumbent is a member of one or more interdisciplinary teams of the program, and acts as a consultant within and outside the program. The psychologist also provides educational and research services.
Required Qualifications
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
Ph.D. in clinical or development psychology from an accredited program
CPR certification - level B
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate and collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary planning group
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
Ability to travel, including overnight stays when required
Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with children and with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and/or disabilities
Demonstrated ability with a variety of psychodiagnostic tools and interventions appropriate for children
Demonstrated commitment to teaching and research
Other Information
Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
In a 3 week rotation: 14 shifts of 8.00 hours
