Areas of responsibilities include:
To assess students speech, language and communication skills
To develop appropriate programs to assist students in acquiring communication skills
To provide support for classroom teachers, parents and educational assistants in program delivery
To provide limited direct service to individuals, small groups, or whole classrooms as deemed appropriate
To work with a team of Speech Language Pathologists in providing in-service opportunities and professional development for staff
The successful candidate will:
Be of Catholic Faith:
Possess a Masters degree in the area of responsibility
Eligible for licensing by the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Eligible for a Professional B Teachers Certificate
Have a valid drivers license
Preference will be given to candidates who:
have an understanding of First Nations and Mtis World View
have strong interpersonal and communication skills
are well planned, organized and flexible
have previous work experience as a member of an inter-disciplinary team
