Brandt Tractor Ltd. is currently seeking a Machine Monitoring Specialist in our Regina location.
All John Deere machines are equipped with JDLink telematics which transmits data from the machine (via cellular or satellite communication) to the Brandt Tractor Machine Monitoring Center (BMMC).
Any potential problems detected by the machines onboard computers are relayed to the BMMC as Diagnostic Trouble Codes (Alerts).
The Machine Monitoring Specialist monitors and investigates these Alerts to determine the severity of the problem and if further action is required.
If further action is needed the Machine Monitoring Specialist communicates with the customer or with the Brandt Service Department to resolve the issues.
Responsibilities of a Machine Monitoring Specialist are, but are not limited to, the following:
Monitor alerts received from machines on JDLink and IATC websites
Investigate the Alerts to determine the necessary course of action
Effectively communicate the appropriate actions to the Service Departments or customers via telephone, e-mail or ticketing system
Utilize John Deeres solution database (CCMS) to identify trends
Compose custom daily, weekly and monthly reports as needed
Other duties as required
Required Skills:
Knowledge of the heavy equipment & dealership service departments
(Experience with John Deere equipment would be an asset but not necessary)
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, email and Internet navigation
Dedicated to continuous improvement and learning

Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbal and written
High level of customer focus.
